Fruit from three vineyards in Stellenbosch, Hemel-en-Aarde and Overberg. There is something wonderfully wild about this Pinot. Like standing at the shore of a lake in deep winter listening to Celtic singers call to the waters. It's sharp and sweet and spine-tingling. It floats and cuts. Hawthorn and wild cherry, jasmine and violets, tomato vine. The tannins branch silently through the wine like the membrane of a leaf. Like veins, coursing with sap. It's bright cherries of summer, mushrooms of autumn, senescence of winter. Vivid. Brimming with readiness. (TC)

The 2019 The Mary Delaney Collection Pinot Noir presents light red fruit flavors with delicate floral undertones and a subtle dustiness. With 13% alcohol, this wine offers a succulent palate, a balanced structure and a medium body. It should drink well for the next few years.

Grapes from Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, Overberg and Stellenbosch. Succulent red-berry fruit with a playful brightness and silk-scarf tannins. A peppery-mushroom undertow. So fresh. Dancing. (TC)
