Score 85/100 · Drink 2010-2013, Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Oct 2010

A to Z’s 2008 Oregon Pinot Noir, blended from a multitude of vineyards throughout the state, is light to medium ruby-colored with a pleasant perfume of cinnamon, clove, rose petal, and cherry. Easy-going on the palate, this tasty effort is meant for drinking over the next 2-3 years. It offers decent bang for the buck. Tel. (503) 864-4489 www.atozwineworks.com

Bright red. Initially reduced nose opens to display red berry and cracked pepper scents, plus a subtle note of dried rose. Light-bodied, tangy raspberry and cherry skin flavors are firmed by bright acidity and offer good straightforward appeal. Finishes slightly tart, leaving white pepper and bitter cherry notes behind.
