Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2017-2032, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2014

The 2013 Vosne Romanée 1er Cru les Suchots has darker fruit than the Les Brûlées, which may be because the vines suffered more millerandage in the growing season, thus concentrating the fruit. The palate is very well structured and displays good density - real weight in the mouth here. It has more complexity than the Les Brûlées and the season seems to have tamed Suchot's tendency to get carried away with itself. This is a beautifully crafted wine.
