Good medium-full red. Complex, perfumed aromas of redcurrant, cherry, mocha, game and earth, plus a whiff of underbrush. Sweet, dense and lush, with a fine grain to the plum and spice flavors. Finishes long and strong, with dusty tannins. This has turned out well.

Good ruby-red. Aromatic nose combines blackberry, raspberry, spices and violet. Juicy but on the lean side, with a peppery nuance suggesting modest ripeness. Lacks depth and fullness for Chambertin, and finishes a bit dry-edged.
