Love the leafy, fragrant Cabernet expression here, far more understated than you might expect and a real success in a challenging vintage. Vivid, bright, joyful with energy and rise, concentrated blueberry and cassis fruits, so flavourful with sage and black pepper spices, waves of cedar, mint leaf and incense. Harvest April 3 and 9, 3.85ph. A very small crop, with almost no Cloudburst Malbec this year. Will Berliner owner and winemaker.

Cloudburst is a boutique Margaret River winery whose rise to fame has been nothing short of meteoric. Winemaker-founder Will Berliner released the first vintage of Cloudburst in 2010 to great critical acclaim; his wines are now to be found in the cellars of some of the world’s greatest restaurants.
