From what could be considered the home ranch of winemaker Russell Bevan, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tench Vineyard is another killer wine, offering a singular, exotic even, bouquet of black and blue fruits, lavender, raspberry white chocolate, baking spices, and cedary incense. This beauty is a monster on the palate, with a powerful, full-bodied profile, yet it stays perfectly balanced, has ripe tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. It’s another brilliant wine in the lineup and it’s easily a 25+ year wine. Bravo!

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tench Vineyard is another super-impressive wine in this range. Inky and jammy with tremendous, presence, the 2017 exudes richness from start to finish. Blackberry jam, espresso, chocolate, licorice and sweet new oak race across the palate, with pretty floral notes that add complexity.
