2000 Reserve Block 13 Merlot

Deep red. Sappy aromas of raspberry, currant, cherry and mocha, along with an exotic oak note of coconut. Dense, oaky and concentrated; boasts excellent sweetness of fruit and texture but comes across as tighter and more dominated by its structure today than the regular 2000 merlot. Here, too, the sweet, spreading tannins really coat the palate.
