Score 94/100 · Drink 2026-2038, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2026

The 2023 Pinot Noir Alberigi is gracious, elegant and sculpted. Bright red-toned fruit, chalk, mint, dried herbs and white pepper lend notable tension and salivating vibrancy. The Alberigi is defined by its cut and tension. Sadly, this is the last vintage for the Alberigi, as the vineyard was taken out after the 2024 harvest.

The organically farmed, 2.5-acre Alberigi Vineyard, located on Vine Hill Road, is planted to Dijon clones and sourced exclusively by Radio-Coteau. The 2023 Pinot Noir Alberigi was fermented with 25% whole clusters and matured for 16 months in 30% new French oak barrels and puncheons. It has savory aromas of leather, flint, forest floor and cola over a core of wild berry fruit. The medium-bodied palate features concentrated, savory flavors framed by chalky tannins and bright acidity, and it has a long, layered finish. 156 cases were made. It will be released in the fall of 2025.
