A jeweled ruby color, the 2023 Pinot Noir Novo Vivo is a commanding wine with layered notes of cracked pepper spice, bright red cherries, crushed roses, dried earth, and raspberries. In the cellar, it saw 50% whole clusters and was raised in 50% new French oak barrels. Medium to full-bodied, it saturates the palate and has exceptional length and purity. It’s a stunner in the range and has another two decades or more ahead of it. Drink 2025-2045.

The 2023 Pinot Noir Estate Novo Vivo was fermented with 50% whole clusters and matured in 50% new French oak. Initial wafts of spice and flint give way to red cherry, strawberry, garrigue and floral perfume. The medium-bodied palate is powerful and elegant; its dark, mineral-laced flavors are structured by chalky tannins and mouthwatering acidity, and it has a long, nuanced finish. It will benefit from time in the cellar.
