Score 96/100 · Drink 2025-2040, Jeb Dunnuck, Aug 2024

A ripe ruby red color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Jessie Vineyard displays a more savory profile. Coming from the winery’s steepest vineyard site with a 33% grade, it has an elegant floral perfume of ripe berries, and the texture is supple, with ripe tannins and an approachable feel. It’s well-detailed, with a cushion of approachability, but it’s fully dry and has a savory undertone. Drink 2025-2040.

Score 92/100 · Drink 2026-2031, Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2024

Darkly floral and youthfully inward, the 2022 Pinot Noir Jessie Vineyard opens with a spicy mix of cedar shavings, earth tones and crushed black raspberries, all lifted by a hint of mint. This is more energetic than expected yet also full of youthful tension. Tart red berries penetrate deeply as grippy tannins settle in toward the close. An air of autumnal spice and lavender lingers as the 2022 finishes with medium length and ample structure.
