Matured in 25% new oak, the 2023 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard Etzel Block has slowly unfurling aromas of pomegranate, rhubarb, Earl Grey tea and graphite. The full-bodied palate is concentrated and nuanced with silky tannins, bright acidity and a long, spicy finish.

The 2023 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard Etzel Block overlooks the Etzel property. It’s elegant and floral, featuring notes of black cherry liqueur, candied flowers, sage, and sweet herbs. Composed of 86% Pommard and old Dijon 114, this wine is ripe and appealing now, with silky fruit and a rounded, elegant feel. Seamless and balanced, it will drink well over the next 20 years.

The 2023 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard Etzel Block shows a dusty character, as notes of ashen stone and sage complement balsamic-tinged black cherries. Soft textures and crisp red and blue fruits splash across the palate. Nuances of apricot add fascinating depth. A citrus twang punctuates the experience, and the finish is long and staining, leaving edgy tannins and the mouth watering for more.
