(from old vines in the upper part of the cru): Very ripe aromas of pineapple and lime are brightened by minerality. Plusher, sweeter and bigger than the 2014s bottled under the Bruno Colin label, showing a ripe lemon drop flavor and much more pliancy of texture. Conveys lovely high-altitude tension along with solid buffering material. For all its fleshiness, this wine is also quite juicy.

Expensive wines! Rich and dense – pretty impressive but still the price is striking… (JR)

Pale greenish-yellow. Fruit-driven aromas of pineapple, lime blossom, white pepper and herbs called to mind both Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. Offers enticing sweetness of fruit with penetrating but harmonious acidity and a rocky mineral underpinning. Really Puligny-like tension here, and very long on the aftertaste. These vines are not far from Bouchard's Cabottes plot in Chevalier-Montrachet.
