Aromas of berries, spices and creamy new oak introduce the 2023 Nuits-Saint-Georges Au Bas de Combe, a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy wine that's giving and charming, with a sweet core of fruit and a vanillin-inflected finish.

The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Au Bas de Combe comprises five barrels for the first time. It has a joyful bouquet with fine delineation, and its sorbet-fresh red fruit has plenty of energy. Open and generous, the palate is medium-bodied with silky tannins, very pure fruit and a harmonious finish. This will be open for business soon after bottling.
