Smells so good. Pure Pinot. Essence of raspberry with a delicate, minor-key current of sour. Mesh of twigs and bark and herbs. Juice-flooding, mouth-filling fruit. Untrammelled but not simple. (TC)

The 2023 Beaune Bressandes 1er Cru, vinified with 40% whole bunch, has the most complete and harmonious nose among Thibaut Marion's Beaune Premiers with dark cherry and wild strawberry scents. It's a little more floral in style with fine definition. The palate is well-balanced, zesty and lively with sapid red fruit, good length, ample weight and tension on the finish. This is well worth seeking out.
