Score 91+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous

Very subdued limey nose exudes a honeyed superripeness with aeration. Powerful on the attack, then quite penetrating and high in limey acidity. Shows less flesh than the Ruchottes today and thus comes across as rather clenched. Quite powerful for this wine, and very long on the back end.
