The 2025 Desmirail has a gorgeous bouquet with violet-infused blackberry and blueberry scents, the oak very well integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with a graphite-tinged opening, pliant tannins, quite edgy, with plenty of sapidity on the fresh finish. I can see this maturing well in bottle, but this Desmirail should be approachable young. One to watch.

A charming, understated Margaux, the 2025 Château Desmirail opens with lively red fruits, spice, dried flowers, and some tobacco nuances on the nose. Medium-bodied on the palate, it's fresh and balanced, with a rounded, forward style that's already hard to resist. It builds nicely with time in the glass, which is always a good sign at this stage.

The 2025 Desmirail is a deep, powerful Margaux. Dark-toned fruit, spice, crushed flowers, lavender and mocha fill out the mid-palate nicely. Deceptively medium in body, Desmirail packs a pretty substantial punch.

Less marked by oak than in recent vintages—though a toasty nuance remains—the 2025 Desmirail reveals aromas of dark berries, spices and lead pencil, mingled with notes of mulberries. Medium- to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, it’s seamless and layered, framed by velvety tannins and concluding with a harmonious, perfumed finish.
