Score 92-94/100 · Drink 2031-2055, Neal Martin, May 2026

The 2025 Nairac has an attractive nose with dried honey, a touch of barley sugar and light apricot skin scents. Quite understated for the vintage. The palate is viscous on the entry, with fine acidity and purity, quince and apricot to the fore, cohesive with a lingering finish. Just give it two or three years for the aromatics to cohere and you will have a fine Barsac on your hands. 175 g/l residual sugar.

Aromas of stones, saffron, mushrooms and a dusty nuance. Lush and sweet yet with definition, supported by an attractive saline component and a stony texture in the finish. Intense sweetness. 100% semillon with 175 g/L residual sugar.
