The 2018 Barolo La Serra presents a pretty dialed up side of this La Morra vineyard. Sweet red cherry, red plum, rose petal, iron and crushed rocks are all amplified in the glass. This is an especially loud La Serra Barolo, but all the elements are nicely balanced.

The 2018 Barolo La Serra is an elegant mid-weight Nebbiolo with a full bouquet that is focused on ripe fruit aromas, dried cherry and crème de cassis. This wine is especially identified by the integrity and brightness of its fruit, especially that cherry. This is almost candied or fortified. The bouquet is linear and nicely lifted as a result.
