The 2020 Méaume has a deep purple-black color, offering up scents of baked blackberries, stewed plums and underbrush, with hints of cracked black pepper and dried Provence herbs. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers plenty of black fruit preserves with lively herbal sparks and a soft texture, finishing with a peppery kick.
The 2020 Château Meaume offers fresh, medium-bodied aromas and flavors of ripe black cherries, violets, and cedary herbs. It’s fresh, balanced, has polished tannins, and is just another terrific wine in the vintage that should represent a good value.
