2004 Cornas Les Grandes Terraces

Deep red. Suave, understated aromas of ripe cherry and smoked meat. Supple and gentle in the mouth, with lush dark berry flavors and very mild tannins. Quite sedate for Cornas, showing a delicacy and silkiness of texture.

Irrefutably mediocre, the 2004 reds are herbal, thin, austere, unattractive efforts, and only a few will be recommendable after bottling. No specific tasting notes were given for this wine.
