Domaine de Chevalier's 1993 does not yet reveal the chewy, rich, fat, muscular character of the outstanding 1992. The unformed, citrusy 1993 is backward and unevolved with abundant quantities of crisp, tart fruit complemented by lavish quantities of toasty new oak. Although the wine is tightly knit, firm, and certainly very good, my instincts suggest it is not as rich and complete as the 1992. It will last for 15-20+ years.
