Bright ruby-red. Musky aromas of dark fruits, spicecake and underbrush. Supple and sweet, with intriguing game and spice flavors adding dimension and complexity. A blend of premier crus with a high proportion of old vines. Finishes with lovely sweetness.

Red-ruby. Blackberry, smoke and espresso aromas lifted by a violety topnote. Firm, pure and juicy, with blackberry, game, licorice and espresso flavors, as well as some apparent oakiness that Mortet says will become less pronounced when the wine is racked.
