Score 92-94/100 · Drink 2019-2035, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

The 2014 Chapelle Chambertin Grand Cru has a voluptuous nose compared to the Charmes-Chambertin with plenty of ripe blackberry and bilberry fruit, just a touch of graphite coming through. The palate is medium-bodied and very smooth, and quite opulent for a Chapelle-Chambertin. There is commendable depth, the oak obviously needing a few years to fully integrate here, but it will be worth the wait.
