Light-medium yellow. Reticent but pure aromas of white peach, apple, pear, citrus fruits and earth are lifted by a mineral quality and a touch of orange blossom. Lovely sweet peach and mandarin orange flavors display nice concentration. Winemaker Guillaume Gicqueau-Michel thinks this should be more expressive today, but this is the only premier cru bottled with Diam corks. Gicqueau-Michel told me he's moving back to natural cork, as he finds that the wines sealed with Diams are muted for too long. Lovely fruit here.

Somewhat closed on the nose, but there is pleasant apple and blossom character on the palate. Light body, some bitterness to finish. (RH)

(limited hail damage here): Pure, more complex nose combines yellow fruits and smoky, flinty minerality. Round, ripe and sweet, showing a slightly exotic quality but also good concentration and fine-grained texture to its deep yellow fruit flavors. The finished alcohol here is 12.9% and, at a modest 1.0 gram per liter, this is the highest among the 2015s.
