(bottled in April of this year): Pungent aromas of crushed rock, minerals and menthol convey a fusel quality in a positive way. Juicy, intense and penetrating; racy, sharply chiseled wine with a very long, taut finish. Tightened by the bottling but not too different in style from the 2016. An outstanding village wine with a future.

The 2015 Chablis Villages has a very pure, well-defined bouquet with hints of dried honey complementing the citrus fruit. The palate is well balanced with good acidity within the context of the vintage, a little grassiness surfacing towards the poised finish. Good effort. This probably just surpasses the 2014 Chablis.

Aromas of menthol, licorice and minerals. Juicy and tactile, showing good lemony cut. Quite tight for a village wine from this very warm year--not at all a bad thing.
