65-year-old vines. Very deep colour. Crimson, very serious. A definite step up! Concentrated nose, dry and serious. Very clean but intriguing. Animal notes. Dense, confident, racehorse. Very long and sumptuous. Cracking intensity. Electric. Muscular. (JR)

Good full medium red. Complex nose melds musky raspberry, flinty minerality, mocha, smoked meat and wild herbs. Sweet and stony in the mouth, with enticing peppery lift to the raspberry and iron flavors. This very young wine conveys a strong impression of darker soil and really saturates the palate on the very long, ripely tannic finish.
