FINE+RARE, Jul 2025

Plummy, sweet and round, this is full-bodied and concentrated, with real density to the fruit on the palate. It’s fresh, with a saline finish, yet there’s a solidity to this, not having the precision, brightness and aromatics of more recent vintages. Blend: 65% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc

Tight and refined with berry and cherry character, a medium body and ultra-fine tannins. A juicy and balanced red. Mar 2017, www.jamessuckling.com

This is a dense wine, with fine, rich fruits and some solid structure behind the crispness and black currant brightness. A fine vintage selection for this parcel within the Simard vineyard. Apr 2017, Roger Voss, www.wineenthusiast.com

Dark crimson. Some energy and life to this though there is still a suggestion of oak. Apr 2017, www.jancisrobinson.com, Drink: 2024-2032
