Score 94/100 · Drink 2028-2060, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2021

The 2018 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru is showing nicely, wafting from the glass with a deep and incipiently complex bouquet of cherries, dark berry fruit and cassis, mingled with notes of cinnamon, rose hip and blood orange. Deep, full-bodied and concentrated, it's elegantly muscular, with a layered core of fruit, rich and powdery tannins, and succulent balancing acids. Broad-shouldered and introverted, this has a bright future ahead of it.
