Score 91/100 · Drink 2024-2040, Neal Martin, Dec 2021

From one of the Domaine’s highest altitude vineyards on rocky soils, the 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet La Grande Montagne 1er Cru is more closed on the nose than other cuvées at the moment, more austere The palate is well balanced with finely-tuned acidity, linear and correct with slightly more apply notes on the finish. Fine, but not my pick this year.
