The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Plantes is terrific. Bursting with aromas of cherries, raspberries, exotic spices and rose petals, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with lively acids, melting tannins and a charming, seamless profile. It's one of the most elegant wines in the range this year.

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Plantes 1er Cru, also 100% whole bunch, shows more stem addition than the Les Fuesselottes at the moment, and they feel less integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit with sturdy grip, though there is much more detail and mineralité evidenced on other cuvées at the moment. Not bad at all, though not the best of Felettig’s Premier Crus.
