2021 Latricieres Chambertin

This is a standout in 2021. The nose is distinctly spicy and perfumed, more expressive – yet also more delicate – than the Clos de la Roche tasted at the same time. The fruit is precise and mouth-watering, with crushed raspberry, pretty floral lift and white pepper spice, and a long, mineral finish. The texture is what most impresses, however, remarkably silken and fine-boned. Outstanding, ethereal Grand Cru Burgundy.
