The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village, which comes from a single vineyard to the west of the village, offers attractive dark plum and raspberry scents on the nose, briary and light stony aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, taut and fresh, elegant and finessed with a pure and persistent finish.

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village exhibits aromas of red berries, orange zest and flowers, followed by a medium-bodied, soft and open-knit palate that's supple and charming, with moderate concentration and a nicely defined finish. It's once again a commendable effort from lieu-dit Champ Franc on Gevrey's alluvial fan, not far from the village sports center.
