Score 87/100 · Drink 2016-2022, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

The 2014 Santenay 1er Cru Clos de Tavannes had been bottled one month previously. It has a slightly smudged nose at the moment with raspberry and cranberry scents. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, quite saline in the mouth with an attractive marine influence on the finish. Enjoy this slightly bucolic yet charming Santenay over the next 4-6 years.
