Light-medium yellow. Ripe, slightly musky aromas of white peach, apple and flowers. Offers a captivating touch of sweetness on entry, then lively and tight in the middle palate, showing good citrussy penetration. But less thick than the Vaudésir and a bit streamlined today. Finishes tight and dry, with a positive bitterness.

Pale yellow. Aromas of yellow fruits and ginger are slightly stunted by sulfur. Big, rich and sweet; a salad of yellow fruits in the mouth, with just enough acidity to maintain shape and verve. Finishes strong, spicy and slightly warm. Gicqueau-Michel finds this wine more delicate and linear--and less round--than the Vaudésir but it's still plenty ripe.
