Score 91/100 · Drink 2022-2030, Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2022

More pepper, bouquet garni, and granite-laced dark fruits emerge from the 2019 Saint Joseph Deschants, a medium-bodied, nicely fresh, focused, and balanced Saint Joseph that has plenty of up-front charm and character, yet the balance and purity to keep for 7-8 years.

Score 90/100 · Drink 2022-2030, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Jan 2022

Blended from fruit taken from around Mauve and Sarras and aged in concrete, the 2019 Saint-Joseph Deschants offers up hints of crushed stone and ripe, plummy fruit underscored by a sense of granitic restraint. Atypically full-bodied and concentrated, it's rich, velvety and easy to drink yet should age well for up to a decade.
