The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis en la Rue de Vergy has an attractive earthy bouquet of mainly red fruit and touches of sous-bois . The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and supple in the mouth. Not overly complex, but with an appealing sense of rondeur on the finish. Fine.

Nicely behaved and very fresh. Hint of tomato leaf and very satisfying. Long. May deserve an even higher score. (JR)

The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis en la Rue de Vergy has a perfumed, floral bouquet of red cherries, orange zest and fig-like scents. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, smooth, silky texture and commendable purity on the charming finish, which perhaps just lacks a little substance. Hopefully it will gain some weight by the time of bottling.
