Tank sample. Juicy, direct and fairly straightforward Bourgogne Rouge. Deep colour, a touch of spice, leafy notes. Easy, for early drinking. (AWH)

Rich and muscular, the 2020 Bourgogne Rouge is a medium to full-bodied, dark and concentrated wine evocative of sweet berry fruit, cherries, licorice and loamy soil. It's one of the most powerful wines in the range.

The 2020 Bourgogne Rouge, which had not be sulphured yet, has plenty of brambly red fruit on the nose, quite feisty. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit veering more towards black on the finish. 14.8° alcohol here.
