The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Réferts is satiny and textural, bursting with aromas of honeyed peaches, white flowers, ripe citrus fruit and toasted nuts. Medium to full-bodied, thick and unctuous, it may tighten up with a little time in bottle.

The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru has a similar bouquet to the Les Perrières, but there is a little more clarity and precision here. The palate is more taut and backward by comparison, yet you can feel more concentration and grip toward the finish, which bodes well for the future. Keep it in the cellar for two to four years.
