2010 Beaune Les Aigrots Blanc

The 2010 Beaune Les Aigrots Blanc 1er Cru displays good intensity on the nose, which is more forward than some of its peers, offering secondary aromas of candle wax and lanolin, almost Sémillon-like in style. The palate is well balanced, not complex, yet lifted by a lovely waxy texture and attractive yellow fruit mixed with spice and even a touch of pumpkin on the finish. Mellow and lovely. Tasted at Hatched restaurant in London.
