Score 89/100 · Drink 2013-2023, Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate, May 2011

The 2008 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Tamisot is unusually open and easygoing for this vintage. Gorgeous aromatics lead to generous dark, plummy fruit in this radiant Burgundy. A creamy finish adds to the wine’s expressive personality. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2023. Importer: Peter Weygandt, Unionville, PA; tel. (610) 486-0800

Dark crimson. But a very pale rim. Some mossiness on the nose. Very fresh and pure and linear. Still pretty chewy. (JR)

Monopole. Relatively dark crimson for a 2008. Sweet start and then a bit of oak. A little unintegrated. Very chewy, lean end. But clean and pretty. (JR)
