Tasting notes
Bright citrus, honeyed mint, crushed stone, and hints of orange blossom all emerge from the 2023 L'Esprit De Chevalier Blanc, a fresh, lively white from Pessac-Léognan. Medium-bodied, bright, clean, and crisp, it has a delicious style geared for drinking over the coming 5-7 years. Drink 2026-2033.

The 2023 L'Esprit de Chevalier Blanc has a stern bouquet that takes time to open in the glass, light sea spray scents, quite malic but this is very well defined. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, a lovely resinous texture, plenty of extract here that is commendable for a second wine. Doubtless great value given the quality.
Bright pear, citrus, and floral notes all emerge from the 2023 L'Esprit De Chevalier Blanc, a vibrant white from this brilliant estate that has a slightly fresher, more upfront style compared to the Grand Vin. I love its balance and would happily drink a bottle any time over the coming 5-7 years.
Flowers, pomelo, green apples, and honeysuckle fills the perfume. Round, lush, creamy, and yet fresh, there is wealth of ripe, pineapple, mango, tangerine, and lemon curd nuances on the palate that already taste, and show great. The wine blends 65% Sauvignon Blanc, and 35% Semillon, 14% ABV.
