2013 Clos Marsalette Blanc

Mango, lychee, honey and wild flowers meld together in the 2013 Clos Marsalette Blanc. Stirring of the lees during elevage gives the 2013 much of its body, texture and volume. Hints of pineapple, mint and jasmine inform the graceful finish. The 2013 starts off sweet and expansive, but then finds a measure of focus as the acidity and minerality kick in through the mid-palate and finish. Tasted twice.
