The 2020 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons Les Minots offers up inviting aromas of pear, orange oil, white flowers, spices and bread dough, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and fleshy palate that's lively and vibrant, concluding with a long, saline finish.

Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2023-2032, Neal Martin, Oct 2021

The 2020 Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru Les Minots has a well-defined, quite serious bouquet of honeysuckle and jasmine aromas, a touch of limestone coming through with aeration. The well-balanced palate boasts a powerful entry that is slightly honeyed in both texture and taste. Plenty of spices, stem ginger and white pepper line the ripe finish. Very fine, but it will need two or three years in bottle.
