Score 91-93/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2024

From infelicitously named lieu-dit Ez Crottes, where the soils are rich in clay, the 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot exhibits scents of orange zest, green apple, freshly baked bread, white flowers and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, layered and satiny, it remains impressively taut and saline for a site like this in a vintage like this.
