Score 91/100 · Drink 2024-2028, Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, Mar 2024

The 2021 Crozes-Hermitage opens with pencil shaving nuances, meaty elements and ripe red fruits alongside leafy gradations as well as licorice tones. Medium-bodied and round, the 2021 touches the palate with moderate flavor concentration and good energy. Enjoy it over the next four years.

Cask/tank sample.  Very bright red fruits – sweet raspberry, red berries, spice and clove. Lovely perfume and very fine tannins. So juicy and easy to drink. Not huge concentration but really enjoyable. Will drink early (he added some nearly new oak to the wine to add structure) but will hold for a few years. (AC)
