Lastly, the value-priced 2015 Saint Joseph Baligant delivers plenty of pleasure and is certainly well-made. Plums, blackberries, peppery spice, and incense notes all emerge from this ripe, medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated 2015 that has loads of upfront charm. Drink it anytime over the coming 5-6 years.

Blackish crimson. Really meaty, salty and appetising on the nose. Silky texture with masses of interesting ripe fruit with great integrity. I feel as though it ought to have a more specific name than just St-Jo. Great stuff! So neat and satisfying. Beautiful balance. GV (JR)

Roasted herbs, licorice, charred meats and chocolate black fruits all emerge from the 2015 Saint Joseph Baligant, a chewy and slightly rustic Syrah to enjoy over the coming 5-7 years.
