Very interesting nose. Real breadth and interest here. Forget the fact that this is a well-priced negociant label and revel in the value and individuality. GV (JR)

Deep medium red. Strongly smoky-oaky aromas of red raspberry, crushed stone and minerals. Large-scaled, rich and very ripe but a bit youthfully disjointed today; plenty of material here but this big boy will need time in bottle to harmonize. Finishes quite long, with strong coffee and caramel oak notes.
