Score 91/100 · Drink 2021-2024, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Aug 2021

The 2019 T.H. Rarities Garnacha-Cariñena-Monastrell follows the path of the 2017, with a similar blend of 68% Garnacha, 26% Cariñena and 6% Monastrell—slightly higher in Cariñena, a grape that takes heat better than Garnacha. It feels Mediterranean, warm and ripe, with generous spice after spending 10 months in used barriques separately and a further eight months in oak foudres once blended. The palate is full-bodied with abundant ripe tannins and flavors. 15,700 bottles were filled in October 2020.
