The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Combottes 1er Cru has one of the standout aromatics amongst Lignier's range: beautifully defined red berry fruit, forest floor and desiccated orange peel bursting from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins, very harmonious and poised with real substance and palpable energy towards the finish. Excellent.

Bursting with aromas of plums, red berries, orange zest and sweet spices, the 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Aux Combottes is medium-bodied, ample and enveloping, its lively core of fruit underpinned by supple tannins, concluding with a saline finish.
