Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2024-2038, Neal Martin, Jan 2023

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Seuvrées has quite a backward nose at first with hints of dark chocolate and vanilla infusing the red berry fruit. Floral in style. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grip, quite elegant with nicely-pitched acidity, edgy with impressive mineralité on the finish. Recommended - this shows the pedigree of this lieu-dit.

Aromas of sweet plums, spices, licorice and forest floor introduce the 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Seuvrées, a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy wine built around lively acids and supple, powdery tannins.
